  • PALAIS DU GRAND LARGE - SAINT MALO

Chateaubriand, Surcouf, Jacques Cartier... Whether they were writers, privateers or sailors, Saint-Malo was the birthplace of many men. Proud and independent, the Corsair City seduces by its character and its exceptional setting. To visitors and congressmen, it offers the beauty of its marine landscapes and the richness of its historical heritage.
Before the bombing of August 1944, which destroyed 80% of the city, the Casino of Saint-Malo was located on the site of the Palais du Grand Large.

It was rebuilt in 1954 in its current form and transformed in 1984,
under the impetus of the mayor of the time, into a Convention Centre.

Saint-Malo is a listed city of art with a rich maritime history where several famous men
    have succeeded one another.

The unmissable visit of the ramparts allows to admire the panorama on the opensea, renewed at each moment according to the level of the tide.

The richness of the heritage and the beauty of the landscapes of the Emerald Coast
make Saint-Malo and its region a destination that remains engraved in the memory
    and imagination of the visitor.
